Mr. James Loran White, 87, of Panama City, Fla. died on Thursday, November 22, 2007 at his home. He was born in Wausau, Fla. and was a lifetime resident of this area. He attended Wings of Love Ministries and was Pentecostal by faith. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was in the third wave on the beaches of Normandy. He is survived by three daughters: Minnie Lorene Burgin, Linda Ann Bailey and Mary Ann Vickers all of Panama City; a son: James Edward White of Panama City; a brother: William Henry White of Southport, Fla.; two sisters: Estella Hicks of Apalachicola, Fla. and Mozella Halford of Southport; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Minnie White; a brother: Charles Edward White; and a sister: Christell Pate. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, November 26, 2007 in the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Adcock officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Ronnie Rhodes, Jessie Curles, Roy D. McQuagge, Roy D. McQuagge, Jr., James David Chambers, Travis Cuthrell and Milford Brice Vickers. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 25, 2007 at Heritage Funeral Home.
