Obituary for Phillip Dwight Vincent

Phillip Dwight Vincent, 59, of Panama City, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017. He was born March 2, 1958 in Hammond, Indiana. Phillip enjoyed scuba diving, fishing, traveling and pretty much anything outdoors. As a true Civil War buff, he was fascinated with this time in America’s history. Above all, Phillip loved his family and two dogs, Hunter and Habibi.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Brummet and brother, Douglas Vincent.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 40 years, Jong Vincent; two daughters, Diane Scheirman (Christopher) of Sasebo, Japan and Donna Storch (Ian) of Sunnyvale, California; one son, David Vincent (Michele) of Hope Mills, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Phillip and Michael Vincent; two sisters, Debbie Richards and Judy Smallwood; and one brother, Ronnie Vincent.

A visitation will be held 12:00 P.M., Monday, April 17, 2017 in chapel at Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 P.M. with Lee Sung Jae officiating. Interment will be 10:00 A.M. (EST), Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Tallahassee National Cemetery.
