Obituary for Robert Anthony 'Tony' Wagner

Robert A. (Tony) Wagner, 37, of Callaway, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. He was born December 16, 1980 in Panama City. Tony was a 1999 graduate of Rutherford High School. Tony enjoyed being around family and friends, and never meet a person he didn’t like. He enjoyed mudding and spending time in his Jeep. He worked at numerous businesses including; Rodeo’s Steak and Seafood, Berg Pipe, Bay District Schools Warehouse, Sears, and FlexSteel Pipe.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Joshua L. Wagner; maternal grandmother, Frances Bright; uncle, Todd Bright; and cousin, Morgan Barfield.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Bob and Sonya Bright Wagner of Panama City; maternal grandfather, Franklin D. Bright (Madge) of Panama City; paternal grandmother, Barbara A. Spehar(Emile) of Uniontown, PA; uncle, Frank Bright (Mary) of Panama City; aunts, Celia Bush (Brian) and Wendy Bright, both of Panama City, and Laurel Medina (Orlando) of Rancho Marietta, CA; as well as many cousins.

Honorary Pall Bearers include, Chris Bright, Mark Weston, Tim Suggs, Thomas Suggs, Jonas Suggs, Aaron Suggs, George Suggs, and Casey Register.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Covenant Hospice or Hiland Park Baptist Church-Parker Campus.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M., Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Heritage Funeral Home. The service will begin 10:30 A.M., Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Hiland Park Baptist Church Parker Campus.
